We have some Pebble Tec that was irresponsibly laid above water - Arizona heat destroys it. So we asked Good Neighbor to come by and provide an estimate. Monte came by and explained things very well and provided our options. He went on to provide an adjustment of my pool pump settings and advised on my water levels and pool care which was beyond what we had asked him to help with. Monte was kind, knowledgeable and clearly is passionate about his work! Double thumbs up for his service- highly recommend for sure!
Monte at Good Neighbor Pools has been my pool company since our pool was installed. Simply put, they are the best. We are part time residents so after the pool was built and needed to be brushed daily Monte came by and took care of it. Whenever we show up the pool looks fantastic. As an extra measure of being a good neighbor Monte has altered me to several home care items that had nothing to do with my pool but since we are part time, he gives me a head up. When I contacted Good Neighbor pool service was so frustrated after going through 3 pool services who just didn't show up. Not only did Good Neighbor show up they went above and beyond. They diagnosed a problem we had with the pool sent me pictures and got it cleaned up and continued to take care of the pool. I can't say enough about Good Neighbor and the peace of mind knowing I can rely on them to take care of of my pool. I would highly recommend.
We were referred to Monte about a year and a half ago and have been very happy with his work. He worked extremely hard at getting the cleaning (top suction and bottom crawler) to work properly so our old pool is pristine now.

We first called Good Neighbor after seeing their signs in the neighborhood before we bought a house with a pool. Monte went out and looked over the pool/equipment (for free) before we purchased the house. He told us about some potential issues which we were able to resolve with the seller prior to moving in.Monte and his crew haven't missed a week since we started their weekly service. His pricing includes all chemicals so there are no extra charges, which is great for budget. He has automatic billing set up via credit card so you don't have to worry. We have had SEVERAL issues with our pool equipment due to a large tree in our backyard that drops leaves like crazy from the slightest breeze. Monte has come out several times to fix a clog, backwash the filter, repair the vacuum and countless other things this tree has messed up. He has tried everything possible to help our pool run smoothly without having to get rid of the tree. I finally made the decision to take the tree down, but Monte has tried 8-10 different solutions prior, on his own time, and always showed up when he said he would swing by.Thank you to Monte and his team. Our pool is always sparkling, clean, and chemically balanced. They really do a great job, you won't be disappointed!

Called to have someone come give me an estimate to fix my pool pump. Instead of Monte showing up as I was told, Monte sent me a link to their webpage a week after I called. I then replied clarifying what I needed and no response. Sorry Monte but links to your website don't fix my pool pump issue.
I can't believe this company doesn't have a multitude of great reviews. I think they are awesome! I have been using them for some time now after going through a number of mediocre companies. I remodeled my pool last year so it was extremely important to find a pool maintenance company that would protect my investment. Their service is great and their payment schedule effortless. I highly recommend them!

Hands down, THE best pool service ever! Money communicates at every level and truly cares about his customers and their family. Our son is potty training, but that doesn't stop Monte from seeing the 'full monte' of our 3 year old. We have had several different oil servicing companies in the past and all left us with green pools or half cleaned pools. Monte takes care of one family and our pool!

I found Monte from Yelp. My pool person before him let my pool turn green over July 4th and then told me I needed someone else. UGH! I had family at the house who asked when I was going to fire these people.I called friends and had a horribly expensive quote for Pool Love who told me to drain the pool for 700.00 (LIKE I think I can drain it for free ...) or 150.00 a day for 10 days... HUH?? I called Good Neighbor Pool Service and was told Monte would call, he did and gave me a quote. I paid on the spot without meeting him. He showed up, got to my pool and started treating it before I met him, showed up daily after I met him for a week, told me don't touch the pump, he will do everything. (The last guy would text me and ask me to backwash for him... ugh again)Monte had the green pool clear in a week and crystal clear in 10 days, no extra charge, and said, "Well, I'm a good neighbor!" WOW!I have a tree, that drops noodles in the pool so ... my creepy crawler gets his mouth all jammed with those green beans and he needs a bib and a mother figure to clean his mouth. Being a Divemaster, I practice my skills under water but got quite board of babysitting. Monte dropped off a loaner without telling me, showed up at 6 PM like the Lone Ranger and put the Noodle Taxi in my pool (Hayward Next Generation) who went from corner to corner transporting noodles to their new destination... the noodle catcher. Monte empties it on Wednesdays and I'm a happy camper. I think he treats everyone special, because he's more than a pool guy, he's a Good Neighbor Pool Guy. I HIGHLY recommend him!!Jill of Scottsdale

I recently resurfaced my pool and unfortunately had to leave town right away after filling my pool with water. Unfortunately, didn't have a chance to get the necessary chemicals in the water before I left. So, I searched pool cleaning companies and saw that Good Neighbor Pool Service had 5 stars on their reviews and decided to give them a call. They immediately responded to me and after learning of my situation they sent someone out to my house to assess the situation and give me their recommendations. After a very thorough discussion with Monte I decided to start utilizing their weekly cleaning services which is very reasonably priced. I was also having a problem with my existing pump and with Monte's recommendation I'll be swapping out my old pump with a lot more efficient one that is better suited for my needs. I can't be more happier with my decision to call Good Neighbor Pool Service and I now have the comfort of knowing everything will be fine with my pool whenever I'm away.

These guys were awesome. Monte worked me into his schedule for a short notice acid wash when almost everyone else was booked out 2 to 3 weeks. Super friendly guys. Monte stopped by to check on progress Halfway through the cleaning and we exchanged some laughs and pleasantries. Let me tell you they cleaned our pool up to be sparkling bright and the price was half of what all of the other quotes I received. If you're in the neighborhood (south scottsdale) definitely give them a shot!!!! Thanks again fellas!

I highly recommend calling Monte! My pool vacuum stopped working and considering I just purchased the home, I had no idea why. From seeing recommendations I decided to call Monte and I'm very glad I did. He came out within a few hours backwash the pool and a few other things and got the vacuum working just fine. He was honest and reliable and I wouldn't call anyone but Monte again!
